On Thursday, August 21, 2026, our President, Ozono, spoke at the online seminar "Ask Minaminihon Total Logistics Service: Succeeding the Company, Expanding through Logistics M&A," co-hosted by Strike Co., Ltd. and ascend Co., Ltd. and held in Otemachi.

This seminar took the form of a panel discussion covering themes such as "Are relationships with employees and customers truly protected after an M&A?", "What do buyers look for in the company they are acquiring?", and "How can a company build toward its next stage of growth after being taken over?"

Our President, Ozono, took part in this session, giving an overview of our business as well as a summary of our M&A track record to date. In the panel discussion that followed with Mr. Mizuki Kusaka, President of ascend Co., Ltd., the two drew on their actual experience to discuss a range of topics from various perspectives, including "Why pursue business expansion through M&A in addition to organic growth?", "What kind of investment and support is provided to companies that have been acquired?", "What changes take place on the ground and within the organization after a business is transferred?", and "What matters most in earning the trust needed for a company to be entrusted to you?"
